Very nice hotel, great location, very good restaurant, friendly staff. We had a really great holiday.

ALWAYS A PLEASURE
After many visits one can only notice again and again that service and quality as well as the hotel itself are first-class. The terrace with the view over the valley is great. This time, we were there with our children, which could be accommodated at short notice.

ABSOLUTELY GREAT HOTEL!!
Already at the arrival, you feel like you're entering a small paradise. The cordial friendliness of the owners, which also radiates to the staff in all areas, accompanied us during the entire stay. Stylish furnishings, very beautiful rooms and suites, great wellness area and a fantastic location on the "Sonnenbichl" above Merano characterize the exclusive location. In addition, the kitchen has a very high standard. All this led to the fact that we already knew after a few days that our 1st visit was not going to be our last. Thank you dear Family Jäger, until next year!

From start to finish, everything's great. Staff and hotel manager are super friendly. They respond very well to the wishes of the hotel guests. Highly recommended.

SIMPLY INGENIOUS LITTLE PARADISE
It's the fourth time we've been to this little paradise. The location is very nice, above Merano and with a great view. The ambience is simply great, you immediately feel at home and the staff is very attentive and you are spoiled with great food every day. You can't beat the dessert buffet. We had a junior suite in the 3rd floor. It was very beautifully and tastefully furnished. Thanks family Jäger, and we will come back next year. Marlyse Frei and Co.

"Super beautiful hotel in a wonderful location above Merano. 
Very friendly and competent staff. Wonderful food in an excellent atmosphere. We were there for 9 days and felt very comfortable from the first to the last day. We really can't say anything negative because there was nothing negative. An absolute showcase hotel for us." Thanks again to the family Jäger. I'm sure we'll meet again :-)

Dream vacation

A super beautiful and lovingly managed hotel where you immediately feel at home, here everything is just right. We were there for the second time and were again enthusiastic about the excellent cuisine and the very friendly and attentive staff. We had a room in the 3rd floor with a great view over Merano. Many thanks to the Jäger family and the Sonnenmännchen.

PARADISE ON EARTH
the Hotel Sonnbichl has everything: the atmosphere in general, the quiet, beautiful location, the wonderful, extremely tastefully redesigned rooms (a huge BRAVO! to the interior decorators), the excellent food (original, excellent quality of products and fantastically presented) and drink (exquisite wine list), the very well-kept gardens, but ABOVE ALL: the cordiality and friendliness in dealing with guests, from the hosts to the staff of all areas. A big THANK YOU for the wonderful 2 weeks we spent in "Paradise on Earth". We are already looking forward to seeing you again next year C + J August 2019

Looking for something better is a waste of time

I have been a guest of this hotel for more than 20 years and have always only experienced excellent performances. This hotel can only be recommended to one's best friends.

"In this hotel, everything is just right. The nice, committed owner couple and the extremely friendly staff leave nothing to be desired. Very modern equipped rooms, with soulful design, fantastic views of the valley, perfect location for hiking and more. Very beautiful outdoor pool with lots of green areas, great wellness area with indoor pool. Fantastic food, healthy and tasty, lovingly prepared, presented and served, great wine selection! Dear family Jäger, thank you for everything, we'll be back!"

We were very warmly received. The room was dreamlike. The service and above all the friendliness of the employees are to be particularly emphasized. The food was excellent.
